Industry specialist Andrew Loughlin joined People’s United Bank as a vice president and underwriter on its Asset-Based Lending team. Loughlin will be based in Manhattan and will be responsible for new business underwriting in both the Northeast and nationwide.

Loughlin brings more than 17 years of commercial lending experience to his new role and has previously held specialized positions of increasing responsibility at TD Bank and CIT. He is currently the president of the New York Chapter of the Commercial Finance Association.

People’s United Bank’s Asset-Backed Lending team provides senior secured asset-based loan facilities for borrowers requiring between $5 million and $50 million. The industries they serve include manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, business services, retail and seasonal business, as well as companies in transition or turnaround, refinancing or in the process of acquisition.
