Alexander Litt, an associate of Moritt Hock & Hamroff, was appointed co-chair of the Membership Committee of the Commercial & Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association (COMFED).

COMFED brings together members of the bench and bar interested in relevant issues and laws affecting commercial litigation and associated issues in federal and state court. The section presents programs and CLEs, including an annual destination spring meeting where attorneys congregate for professional development.

Litt focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation related matters and judgment enforcement and collection for high-net-worth individuals and small- to medium-size businesses. His trial experience includes direct examination of expert witnesses, direct and cross-examination question preparation, drafting pre-trial briefs and preparing damage models and analysis.

Litt is also experienced in motion research and drafting, crafting summary judgment and contempt of court hearing motion arguments and client interviews. Litt has served as a first chair in numerous court hearings and in judgement debtor depositions. In 2021, he was recognized by New York super lawyers as a rising star.
