Wells Fargo Asset Management hired Wai Lee as global head of research with the Multi-Asset Solutions team.

“The addition of Wai is another significant step forward as we expand our multi-asset and solutions capabilities at Wells Fargo Asset Management,” said Nico Marais, president and head of Multi-Asset Solutions.

Based in New York, Lee came to Wells Fargo from Neuberger Berman, where he was head of quantitative investments. Previously, Lee served as head of the quantitative engineering group at Credit Suisse Asset Management and as leader of quantitative research and risk management for the global balanced group J.P. Morgan Investment Management. Before joining the investment industry, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Lee is the author of the book Theory and Methodology of Tactical Asset Allocation and has contributed chapters to other books on different topics.
