Klee, Tuchin, Bogdanoff & Stern (KTB&S), a boutique law firm specializing in corporate and municipal restructurings, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial litigation, announced that Vijay Sekhon and Maria Sountas-Argiropoulos have joined KTB&S as Partners effective immediately.

Sekhon most recently practiced corporate law at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he represented high profile clients such as The Blackstone Group, Castle Creek Capital, Domino Printing Sciences, Fast Retailing, Performance Food Group, Pinnacle Foods, Siris Capital Group, and Universal Studios Japan. His practice focuses on a wide range of transactions, including purchases, sales, debt and equity offerings, restructurings and general corporate law.

Sountas-Argiropoulos joins the firm from O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles. There she represented American Capital, Apollo Management, Black Canyon Capital, Guess?, Gottshalks, MGM Resorts, the Port of Oakland, Seidler Equity Partners, Vance Street Capital and Yahoo! Her specialty is working with corporations, private equity sponsors, funds, issuers, investors, agents and senior and subordinated lenders in financing transactions of all kinds, including leveraged acquisitions, private placements, secured and unsecured syndications, mezzanine debt, asset-based loans, subscription lines and restructuring/debtor-in-possession transactions.
