KPMG announced that Kevin A. Krakora has recently joined the group’s Restructuring practice as a principal. With nearly 25 years of restructuring and turnaround experience, Krakora comes to KPMG in Chicago from Mesirow Financial Consulting, where he was a senior managing director in its Restructuring practice since 2004. Previously, Krakora was a principal in KPMG’s corporate recovery practice prior to the practice’s acquisition by Mesirow. Krakora is a Certified Turnaround Professional.
Also joining Krakora in the Restructuring group from Mesirow is Michael McCoy, senior associate. Joining KPMG Corporate Finance, also from Mesirow, is Jonathan Weinberg, director.
