Gibraltar Business Capital added Taylor Kennedy as a vice president for its business development team. Based out of Dallas, Kennedy will manage the Southwest region for Gibraltar and will report to Mike Conrad, who was recently promoted to a team leader role.

Prior to joining the finance world, Kennedy served in the United States Marine Corps for five years, completing combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. From there, he moved into the business world, where he conducted business development for the oilfield services sector throughout Texas.

In addition, prior to Gibraltar, Kennedy worked in the corporate ABL originations group at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, where he was responsible for structuring and underwriting new financing opportunities sourced from private equity groups, turnaround advisors, investment banks and internal business units.

“All of us at Gibraltar are looking forward to Taylor’s contributions to our team and organization. His unique personal and banking background will be an invaluable asset for building partner relationships,” Anthony DiChiara, executive vice president and head of sales at Gibraltar Business Capital, said. “Taylor is well suited to continue serving our diverse and growing customer base that seeks stability and quick access to capital during a time when so many companies are in periods of transition.”
