Riveron Consulting announced James Lee will be joining its Houston office as market director. In this role, the finance and accounting veteran will be responsible for client service and market development for the office, which expects dramatic growth in the second half of 2014.

Lee joins the Riveron team with more than 20 years of experience in accounting and financial leadership and more than 10 years of experience in private equity, with a strong emphasis in manufacturing and energy. He has held executive positions in the areas of finance, accounting, treasury, supply chain, human resources, risk management, legal and information technology.

Most recently Lee was the chief financial officer for Managed Pressure Operations where he led all aspects of the finance, supply chain, human resources, risk management, legal and IT functions during a period of rapid growth for the oilfield services company. He also previously co-founded and served as partner at Terra Verde Partners, a private investment firm focused exclusively on established middle market companies in the environmental sector targeting oilfield and energy services, remediation and resource conservation.

“Immediate plans for growth in our Houston office are a response to the boom in oil and gas, oilfield services and related companies, as well as a very active current M&A market,” Riveron founder Landon Smith said. “James has the perfect combination of industry skillset and experience leading revenue and human capital growth to manage what is expected in this market.”
