Huron Consulting Group appointed Amit Patel as a managing director in its Enterprise Performance Management & Analytics (EPM&A) practice. Patel will lead the practice’s commercial Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) offering, helping guide clients through the transition to the cloud and the modernization of their finance functions.

“Huron is enhancing its rapidly growing technology business by expanding its commercial ERP capabilities, enabling us to deliver end-to-end hybrid Oracle Cloud applications to our clients and help them achieve sustainable results,” said Jay Laabs, managing director and leader of the EPM&A practice. “Amit will work with Mario Desiderio, who recently joined Huron through the acquisition of ADI Strategies, to further strengthen our ERP solution in the commercial markets.”

Patel has more than 20 years of experience in finance, IT and business strategy, technology implementation programs and C-level consulting. In his new role at Huron, he will support commercial organizations with cloud advisory services and help them implement Oracle ERP solutions to increase productivity, lower costs and improve controls. Previously, Patel served in senior management positions at Rolta International, CSC and BearingPoint, where he had responsibilities for developing and expanding Oracle Applications consulting businesses that supported a wide array of Oracle Application solutions, including Oracle Cloud ERP.
