Houlihan Lokey announced L. Gregory Manos joined the firm’s Tax and Financial Reporting Valuation Services practice within Financial Advisory Services. He is based in Los Angeles.

Manos joins from Alvarez & Marsal’s Los Angeles office, where he was a senior director in the Valuation Services Group, advising a range of clients on valuation matters. In this capacity, he oversaw a team of valuation professionals who focused on local Los Angeles clients as well as the national energy and power & utilities markets. Manos was also a founding member of that firm’s Power & Utility Group and an active member of its overall energy practice. He has more than 15 years of experience in energy and power and utility industry valuation and has advised on some of the largest energy and power and utility transactions during that period. Prior to Alvarez & Marsal, Manos held a senior role at EY in the firm’s Energy and Power and Utility Transaction Advisory Services practice, advising a broad range of companies on valuation and corporate finance matters.

“Greg’s unique breadth of experience, spanning traditional valuation and transaction advisory services as well as the energy, power, and utilities sectors, will be tremendously valuable to our clients across all the firm’s businesses,” said Sam Clark, head of Transaction Advisory Services. “Greg has proven himself to be both a highly skilled valuation expert and a demonstrated leader, and we’re delighted that he’s joining the firm,” he added.

“I’m excited to have joined Houlihan Lokey,” said Manos. “I look forward to working with my colleagues in Financial Advisory Services as well as Corporate Finance and Financial Restructuring to provide our clients conflict-free advice and unmatched intellectual capital, as well as maintain and deliver the standard of excellence for which the firm is known.”
