Heritage Equity Partners senior managing director, Ken Mann, was named Distressed M&A Dealmaker of the Year by M&A Advisor, the leadership organization of M&A, turnaround and finance professionals.

The Turnaround Awards recognize the leading restructuring, refinancing and reorganization firms and professionals in the U.S. and international markets. The nominations, representing over 200 participating companies, were judged by an independent panel of industry experts.

“I thank the M&A Advisor and the judges for this honor, and I congratulate the other Turnaround Awards winners,” said Mann. “I also want to recognize the nominees who did not receive an award this year, but are worthy because of their excellent work.”

Mann has been with HEP since 1995. He has personally handled investment banking services for more than 250 distressed businesses operating in industries such as metal fabrication, food processing, wholesale distribution, hospitality, and plastics, furniture and food manufacturing. In 2015, Mann oversaw all 20 sale and refinancing transactions completed by HEP.
