Paul Hastings announced that the firm advised the banks in connection with the financing of private equity firm KKR’s $3.9 billion acquisition of Gardner Denver, a worldwide manufacturer of highly engineered products.

Paul Hastings represented UBS Securities, Barclays Bank, Citigroup Global Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities, Mizuho Bank, RBC Capital Markets, Macquarie Capital (USA), HSBC Securities (USA), KKR Capital Markets and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as arrangers and UBS AG, Stamford Branch as administrative agent in connection with a $1.9 billion term loan, a €400 million term loan and a $400 million cash-flow revolving facility. The proceeds at closing were used to partially finance the acquisition of Gardner Denver by KKR.

Leveraged Finance partner Mike Michetti led the Paul Hastings team, which also included partner Michele Cohen, of counsel Sanjay Thapar and associates Heidi Spalholz, Andrew Roop and Mitchell Zuckerman.
