Harris Williams & Co. announced the sale of Caprion Proteomics, Inc., a provider of integrated proteomic biomarker and target identification solutions and immune monitoring services, to Chicago Growth Partners (CGP). Caprion was a portfolio company of Great Point Partners (GPP). Harris Williams acted as an advisor to Caprion.

The transaction closed on July 19, 2012 and was led by James Clark, Turner Bredrup, Geoff Smith, Whit Knier and Paul Hepper from the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Group.
