H.I.G Capital promoted Keval Patel, Adam Schimel, Ricky Stokes and Jeff Zanarini to associated head and co-head roles.

Patel has been with H.I.G. for 13 years and was promoted to head of the U.S. middle market LBO funds, replacing Rick Rosen, who was recently promoted to co-president. Patel also will lead the North America chemicals practice for all U.S. equity funds.

Schimel has almost 20 years of debt and special situations investment experience and joined H.I.G. in 2006. He was promoted to co-head of H.I.G.’s Bayside Capital special situations and distressed debt strategy in the U.S. alongside Jackson Craig.

Stokes has been with H.I.G. for almost 20 years and was promoted to head of the U.S. lower middle market funds, replacing Doug Berman, who recently assumed the role of head of U.S. private equity.

Zanarini, who had been with the company for 17 years, was promoted to head of business development for all U.S. private equity funds. In this new role, he will oversee and coordinate business development activities for all U.S. private equity funds.
