Global law firm Greenberg Traurig continued to grow its corporate practice with the strategic addition of Matthew Frankle as a shareholder in New York. Prior to joining the firm, Frankle was a director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Frankle’s practice will focus on secured lending transactions with an emphasis on loans secured by equity collateral with varying levels of liquidity. He also has experience representing major financial institutions in securities law and equity derivative matters.

“The addition of Matt enhances our already outstanding team of corporate practitioners who provide excellent client service and a value proposition that no other firm offers,” said Alan I. Annex, co-chair of the Global Corporate Practice. “Clients and his colleagues at Greenberg Traurig will benefit from his wealth of knowledge and intimate experience working at a major financial institution.”

“Greenberg Traurig is dedicated to delivering excellence and quality to our clients,” said New York Co-Managing Shareholders Nancy A. Mitchell and Stephen L. Rabinowitz in a joint statement. “Matt’s addition highlights this commitment of hiring top-tier practitioners in the strategic areas that are important to our clients and their businesses.”

“I look forward to working alongside the talented and well-respected attorneys at Greenberg Traurig,” Frankle said. “I was drawn to the firm’s depth of practice areas and global reach – an unparalleled platform that is unique to Greenberg Traurig.”
