GA Europe Valuations, a subsidiary of Great American Group, said it has hired Gordon Titley as director of valuations in its London office.

Titley, who has more than 20 years of experience in asset-based lending and business restructuring, will manage the valuation activities for the company in Europe. His responsibilities will include a growing team of professionals to support machinery, stock and corporate valuations, while also providing management for quality control and client consultation. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer with Duff & Phelps, a UK subsidiary of a global provider of financial advisory and investment banking services.

He began his career with GMAC Commercial Finance. Over his nearly 20 years with GMAC, he worked in a variety of capacities and eventually served as president/managing director supervising more than 200 employees with responsibility for more than $1.3 billion of lending across Europe.
