Union Bank announced that Jean Grasso and John Eissele joined its Commercial Finance Division (CFD) as senior vice presidents. They will be based in Los Angeles. The division provides middle-market and corporate clients with asset-based lending solutions for recapitalizations, restructurings, growth capital and general corporate purposes.

Grasso is the southern California market manager of the division, responsible for developing relationships with prospective clients and intermediaries, and building a team of originators focused on sourcing and structuring asset based loans. She reports to senior vice president and national marketing manager Eric Maloy.

Eissele is the national senior credit manager for the commercial finance division where he is responsible for portfolio and relationship management for asset-based lending relationships throughout the nation. Eissele reports to senior vice president and group head Michael Murphy.

“We are extremely fortunate to have Jean and John on the team bringing with them a collective 40 years of asset based lending and capital markets experience to help further our plans to grow our asset based lending platform and expand our client base across the country,” said Murphy.

Grasso previously served as managing director in loan sales and syndications at Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Eissele previously served as SVP and underwriting manager at Bank of America Business Capital.
