Jimmy Pappas has joined Grant Thornton as a Forensic Advisory Services partner. Based in Boston, Pappas strengthens Grant Thornton’s service offerings in forensic accounting, internal investigations, litigation support and corporate governance.

Pappas has worked for more than 20 years in the forensic and audit disciplines of accounting. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Pappas was a managing director at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Pappas has experience advising legal counsel, boards of directors and company management on accounting, internal control and financial matters, in the context of internal investigations, civil and criminal litigation, and corporate governance initiatives. He conducts internal investigations on issues relating to the integrity of financial statements, corruption and misappropriation of assets; consults and testifies on business and regulatory disputes and advises clients on the establishment of compliance programs.
