Goodman Factors has rebranded as Goodman Capital Finance, a name that better reflects its new and broader product offering. Goodman Capital Finance will be incorporating a new graphic look to reflect the company’s new image.

Goodman Capital Finance has strategically evolved its expertise from its earliest days of invoice factoring to the apparel industry, to include both asset-based lending and factoring in the following diverse arenas: oil field services, staffing agencies, transportation firms, government contractors, manufacturers, distributors, service companies, and apparel.

“Through the years, our capitalization and knowledge have allowed us to offer alternative funding solutions and quick decisions at very competitive rates,” said Bret Schuch, executive vice president and co-division manager.

“However, when Goodman Factors joined forces with Independent Bank, the stronger capital structure and lower cost of funds enabled us to offer our clients so much more in terms of specialty lending. With this new arsenal of services, we felt that we had reached a point where our name no longer reflected our abilities. Therefore, a name change was in order.”

Goodman Capital Finance is a division of Shelby, TN-based Independent Bank—a regional bank offering a full range of personal and business banking services.

Founded in 1972 and based in Dallas, Goodman Capital Finance serves the working capital needs of businesses across the country with funding requirements of anywhere from $10,000 to $10 million.
