Getzler Henrich & Associates added Rod Olivero to the firm as a senior director. Olivero has more than 20 years of restructuring advisory, investment banking and credit analysis experience with a focus on leading middle-market, distressed and special-situations engagements. His industry experience includes business services, consumer products, distribution, financial institutions, food and beverage, industrials, and logistics.

Olivero has held various interim financial management and consulting roles. He recently served as interim CFO for a $115 million distressed logistics company. In that role, Olivero actively managed working capital and liquidity through a 13-week cash flow, managed the internal process to sell three business units to different strategic and financial acquirers in an out-of-court process, advised on bankruptcy contingency planning, performed liquidation analyses and developed the proposed DIP budget. In other interim CFO roles, Olivero developed, implemented and managed cash forecasting models, financial reporting functions and budgeting processes, and also assisted companies in gaining access to capital. In financial advisory roles, Olivero has assisted clients in raising capital, provided M&A advice and actively managed and executed all engagement functions, from conducting due diligence, financial model development and creating marketing materials to marketing transactions and advising clients on partner selection and transaction structure.

Prior to joining Getzler Henrich, Olivero was director of investment banking, business restructuring and turnaround services at aglobal advisory firm. Earlier, he served as director and credit analyst at Standard & Poor’s Rating Services. Olivero began his career as an investment banker at Bear Stearns. Olivero is a certified public accountant, a certified turnaround analyst and holds FINRA series 63 and 79 licenses.
