GE Antares Capital announced Yair Reiner joined as aerospace and government services analyst in the company’s New York office. In this role, Reiner, who previously spent a decade as an equity research analyst, will work with GE Antares’ lending executives to support their private equity clients and portfolio companies.

Prior to joining, Reiner was the senior analyst for aerospace and defense at Oppenheimer & Co., where his coverage universe included large-cap aerospace and defense companies as well as mid- and small-cap suppliers. During his 10-year career with Oppenheimer, he also spent time as the senior analyst for applied technology.

Before entering equity research, Reiner was an editor, writer and radio producer. In 2002, he won a Peabody Award for excellence in broadcasting as co-producer of a National Public Radio series.

“Yair brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to our team as well as deep analytical abilities,” said David Brackett, president and CEO, GE Antares Capital. “Given the current supercycle in aerospace manufacturing and the accompanying increased interest in transactions in the space, this is an optimal time to add Yair to the business to enhance our ability to support our clients’ growth needs.”

“The team here at GE Antares is truly best in class, and I am looking forward to working with them as we identify new trends and growth opportunities to support in the aerospace industry,” remarked Reiner. “GE’s unparalleled level of institutional knowledge in aerospace and commitment to helping clients grow allows us to bring a truly differentiated offering suited to this environment.”
