AFH Holding & Advisory, a financial advisory and management consulting firm, announced the appointment of Jimmy Delshad, former two-time mayor of Beverly Hills as an advisor.

Jimmy Delshad is a well-known entrepreneur and business executive as- well-as a two-term mayor of City of Beverly Hills. He is currently the official Goodwill Ambassador. In his eight years on the Beverly Hills City Council and his two terms as mayor, he conceived and implemented the “Smart City” initiatives that made the City of Beverly Hills known as the “Smart, Safe and Green City.” These initiatives improved the quality of life, safety record and attractiveness of the city to business and residents. During his time as mayor, the city of Beverly Hills had a balanced budget with ample reserves and an AAA rating.

With a degree in computer sciences and strong background in technology, Jimmy Delshad was founder and CEO of American International Business, a company in the computer industry that he expanded and ran for 22 years. Today he is chairman of Delshad Capital Group, and a well-known management consultant, motivational speaker and investor.

His interests and influence go beyond his business ventures and the city of Beverly Hills. He was the first Iranian-American to become two-term president of Sinai Temple, a 100-year-old organization with thousands of members, and he sits on numerous boards including the Iranian American Jewish Federation and the Sheba Medical Hospital in Israel.
