Andrew Barstow has joined AlixPartners as a managing director based in the firm’s London office.

He will focus on helping financial services clients deliver business transformation through strategic technology innovation and change.

Barstow brings more than 30 years of experience in technology consulting and business transformation across the UK and EMEA. He has held senior leadership roles at Ernst & Young and global systems integrator Cap Gemini.

At EY, he was the EMEA Financial Services IT Advisory founding partner and leader and he held senior leadership roles including their UK Financial Services Technology Strategy and Innovation practice.

Barstow has also held a number of high-profile, non-executive directorships including chairman of the board at Cranfield Trust, a not-for-profit consulting firm that focuses on the charity sector; Yordex, a provider of finance systems and solutions; and managing partner of 4ChangePartners, a strategic consulting firm.
