Dresner Partners Advises IMCO Technologies

Dresner Partners announced that it advised Pewaukee, WI-based IMCO Technologies Corp., in the divestiture of its critical test results management solution to Amcom Software. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

IMCO’s Critical Test Results Management (CTRM) software is capable of securely and rapidly transferring information between caregivers when time is critical to patient care. CTRM’s technology sends messages from lab and radiology staff to referring caregivers on a variety of mobile devices.

“IMCO has developed a much needed and effective technology for hospitals and radiologists, and we were excited to partner with Amcom Software, Inc. to accelerate our market penetration,” said Hank Smith, CEO at IMCO. “We want to thank the Dresner team, led by Paul Hoffman, along with our other professional advisors and management team who worked together seamlessly to consummate a successful transaction.”

“We have established a culture of open, interactive discussion with our customers, and many have identified the need to improve critical test results handling,” said Kate Bolseth, COO of Amcom. “We’re pleased to be able to integrate this capability with their existing communications infrastructures for the good of patient care.”

Hoffman, SVP at Dresner Partners, added, “IMCO’s technology, which enhances workflow efficiency and patient safety while reducing clinical risk and related litigation, represents a natural extension to Amcom’s product suite. It was a pleasure working with the IMCO team as well as Amcom in putting this deal together.”

“We at Dresner feel privileged to have been able to advise IMCO in this highly synergistic transaction,” said Steven Dresner, president of Dresner Partners. “We expect that the combination of IMCO’s product suite with Amcom’s technology platform and customer base will enhance Amcom’s healthcare service capabilities going forward.”

IMCO produces, sells and services software solutions in hospitals, imaging centers, radiology reading groups and clinical laboratories.

Amcom Software, a subsidiary of USA Mobility, Inc., connects people to each other and to the data they need.
