Crestmark promoted David Menoian to government guaranteed lending business unit president. Menoian is based in Troy, MI, and will oversee the company’s SBA and USDA lending portfolio. He will report to Christopher Soupal, division president for Crestmark.

Menoian joined Crestmark in 2013 as a field examiner. In 2015, he was promoted to analyst of the government guaranteed lending business unit. In 2016, he was promoted to assistant vice president and underwriting team leader. He then was promoted to director of production in 2018. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing the government guaranteed lending business unit’s origination, underwriting and closing departments.

“I look forward to seeing the group’s growth under David’s helm,” Soupal said. “He has exhibited solid leadership and a strong aptitude for business financing across numerous products — and especially government guaranteed lending.”

“Our team is tremendously talented and I’ve appreciated Chris’ — and Crestmark’s — support,” Menoian said. “Helping businesses grow, especially in an environment that supports financial enablement for our clients and the communities they support, makes it fun to come to work every day.”
