Court Grants Ahern Rentals Extension to File Bankruptcy Plan

According to an article on vegasinc.com, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Bruce Beesley in the Reno bankruptcy court approved an extension for construction rental company Ahern Rentals to provide its Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan. The company now has another 120 days, until August 20, to file its plan.

The extension, the article said would give Ahern Rentals owner and CEO Don Ahern and the company’s financial advisors additional time to structure a plan and find financing.

In late March, Bloomberg reported that Tom Gores, a Los Angeles billionaire, may be interested in acquiring the company using his debt in Ahern to take it over.
