Corporate attorney John Corrigan joined Katten’s private credit practice as a partner in Los Angeles to advise public and private companies and investors in M&A transactions and to handle a range of other client matters.

“John’s comprehensive understanding of complex corporate transactions and his pragmatic approach to client service allow him to close a wide range of deals effectively and efficiently. This makes him an ideal addition to our team,” Michael Jacobson, chair of Katten’s private credit department, said.

Domestic and cross-border deals are among Corrigan’s work advising public and private companies and investors in M&A transactions. He represents technology and life sciences companies in a number of industries, including software, cryptocurrency, health care IT, biotech and pharmaceutical. He also represents venture capital and private equity funds targeting technology and life sciences companies, and handles equity co-invests, equity kickers and exits, among other matters.
