Cody D. Kiser was named Comerica Bank’s Fort Worth, TX market president, succeeding Donald P. Hellman, who will serve in an expanded role in Private Banking Credit Administration.

Hellman, who became Comerica’s first Fort Worth market president in 2013, will begin a new role as Comerica’s credit administration officer for Texas, Arizona and Florida Private Banking.

As Fort Worth Market president, Kiser’s responsibilities will include supporting the bank’s customer initiatives and overall business and community development efforts in Tarrant County across its Business Bank, Retail Bank and Wealth Management businesses. Kiser will continue to serve as group manager of Commercial Banking for Fort Worth and North Dallas.

“We’re pleased to pass the leadership torch to Cody Kiser as Comerica’s second Fort Worth Market President,” said Peter Sefzik, Comerica’s Texas market president. “Since joining Comerica in 2010 as a business banking relationship manager, Cody has consistently proven himself as a leader, mentor and top performer for the company. We look forward to Cody building on Don’s legacy in Fort Worth, and continuing to grow our Tarrant County business.”

A 12-year banking veteran, Kiser was promoted to his current role in 2016 as senior vice president and group manager of both the Tarrant County and North Dallas Business Banking teams from his position as VP, commercial relationship manager.
