CMF Associates announced that four senior professionals have joined the firm.

Mike Mannella and Don Agee have joined as directors and Clare Creelman has joined as principal in the firm’s financial and operational consulting practice, and Justin Carey has joined as a manager in the financial executive recruiting practice.

“We are thrilled to be able to attract this level of talent and expand our platform, adding a presence in both Chicago and Vancouver,” said Thomas Bonney, managing director, CMF Associates. “We look forward to continuing to serve our national client base.”

Mannella will serve in a leadership role on consulting engagements for private equity-backed companies, leveraging his cross-functional expertise in process control, finance, and human resources. As a Canadian-based Chartered Accountant, Mannella also adds to the firm’s ability to service private equity-backed platform companies and subsidiaries in Canada. Prior to CMF, Mannella, with expertise in process re-design, ERP implementation, human capital and internal control matters, worked primarily in professional services as a partner and practice leader at Ernst & Young and Sandgate Consulting.

His extensive corporate and consulting background provides clients with a sound, strategic perspective on designing and implementing solutions to solve business issues. Prior to CMF, Agee worked in financial and IT-related consulting positions at PwC, Accenture, and Arthur Andersen, and was a VP controller and treasurer at a mid-market services company.

Carey will serve as a project leader on financial executive search engagements, working closely with private equity-backed clients and top-level candidates in the CFO market. Carey has more than 10 years of accounting and executive search experience that spans a wide variety of industries and disciplines. Prior to joining CMF, Carey was a member of the Eastern Expansion Strategy team for Farmers Insurance, and served at the director level for two well-known executive search firms.

Creelman will serve as a project manager on financial and operational consulting engagements, providing clients with valuable cross-functional solutions, including organizational and management consulting, financial reporting, corporate accounting, internal controls, transaction-related consulting, and preparation for audit. Prior to joining CMF, Creelman was a manager at PwC where she provided accounting, auditing, and business advisory services to public and private companies in the consumer and industrial manufacturing industries.
