Zachary D. Rosenbaum, an experienced litigator with a long track record of success in high-stakes civil disputes, has joined Kobre & Kim in its New York office.

Before joining Kobre & Kim, Rosenbaum chaired the capital markets litigation practice at Lowenstein Sandler in New York, where he represented investment managers and institutional investors with a focus on securities and structured finance litigation.

Rosenbaum’s wide-ranging experience in New York and abroad spans securities and structured finance, M&A, secured and unsecured financing, real estate investments, and intellectual property. His clients include hedge funds, bondholders, shareholders, foreign and domestic asset managers, private equity funds, trustees, and other institutional investors.

In addition to his experience on the “buy side” of financial markets, Rosenbaum has also engaged in intellectual property litigation and bankruptcy-related litigation, from successfully defeating trade secret infringement claims brought in the Southern District of Florida to litigating in the New York courts and abroad in matters involving complex commercial transactions such as CDO and mortgage-backed securities transactions.

“Zach is a highly regarded lawyer in the New York legal community whose complex U.S. civil litigation experience will greatly benefit our clients,” said Steve Kobre, founding partner of Kobre & Kim. “He will be an important addition to our disputes and investigations capabilities.”
