CIFC announced that Matt Andrews has joined the firm as a managing director in its Capital Markets & Distribution Group. Andrews brings 12 years of investment banking, structured finance and business development experience to CIFC.

Prior to joining CIFC, Andrews was Head of CLO Origination and Structuring for RBS Securities’ U.S. CLO business. Previously, Andrews was a director in RBS’s Asset-Backed Finance Group where he was responsible for originating, financing, structuring and distributing new issue securitizations backed primarily by leveraged loans, credit cards and consumer loan receivables.

Accompanying Andrews from RBS to CIFC as an executive director in the Capital Markets & Distribution Group is Mark Sanofsky. Sanofsky was a senior member of RBS’s U.S. CLO Origination and Structuring Group. Prior to joining RBS, Sanofsky was an attorney at Dechert where he advised clients on a variety of structured finance transactions, which included broadly syndicated and middle-market CLOs, as well as leveraged loan warehouse facilities.
