The ChicagoMidwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association is hosting a half-day seminar led by corporate attorney and law professor Paul Chadha. The program, titled “Negotiations You Win, I Win Finding all-around success through negotiated outcomes” takes place on Oct. 29 from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Venue Six10, 610 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago.

The seminar is geared toward professionals at all levels who want to learn or sharpen their negotiation skills to achieve business objectives. It kicks off with a working lunch that will provide participants with an overview of techniques and goals and sets the frame for an afternoon practicum and workshop during which these skills will be put into action.

A simulated negotiation immediately follows, based on a business case in which attendees will be placed into teams to apply the lessons learned. A full debriefing of the simulation will generate feedback and insight into what went well and what did not.

Chadha will teach the lunch seminar and lead the simulation. In addition to his position as a corporate lawyer at Accenture, he is an adjunct professor of Law at Northwestern University’s School of Law, and he regularly teaches classes on international business law, negotiations and mediations. In 2014 Chadha was named Northwestern University School of Law’s Adjunct Professor of the Year.

Program cost for members is $85; nonmembers may attend for $130; NextGen and students for $60. Register online at www.tmachicagomidwest.org or call the chapter office at (815) 469-2935. Lunch is included. Continuing education credits will be awarded.
