Centri Business Consulting, an accounting and advisory firm, hired Brian Kaiser as managing director and financial services industry practice leader. This strategic hire will help to support the continued growth of Centri’s financial services industry practice and provide more support to the firm’s significant existing client base.

With over a decade of experience in financial services accounting advisory and auditing, Kaiser brings invaluable expertise to his new role at Centri. Under his leadership, Centri aims to enhance its service offerings for financial services businesses, including banks, credit unions, specialty finance companies, mortgage lenders and business development companies.

Collaborating with Centri’s team of experts, Kaiser and the financial services industry team will support the specific needs of financial services operators in areas such as accounting and audit support, accounting transformation, technical accounting, risk advisory and M&A transaction advisory.

Kaiser joins Centri after serving as a managing director at a regional advisory firm and a member of the company’s financial services industry leadership team, playing a significant role in the buildout of the practice. During his time with the firm, he served in interim management roles, led accounting and finance teams and executed accounting advisory projects. Kaiser also provided advisory services to clients, including IPO and capital markets readiness, technical accounting, financial reporting, audit readiness and support, regulator remediation, accounting and technology transformation and operational process improvements. Previously, Kaiser spent over seven years in KPMG’s financial services audit practice in New York and Detroit.

Brian received a B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of accounting from Oakland University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
