Carl Marks Advisors kicked off 2017 by promoting Jonathan Killion to managing director, Ben Godbout to director and Parker Condie to associate.

The firm also hired Chuck Kwong as vice president of strategic research in mid-2016 to focus on the early identification of potential restructurings and work with the team to connect with key stakeholders.

Kwong has more than 23 years in finance and research with skills in identifying potential opportunities through financial metrics screening, analyzing capital structures and monitoring company developments. He was most recently was vice president at GE Capital, Restructuring & Corporate Retail Finance.

Killion has more than 12 years of financial service experience. He has worked closely with company owners, management teams, board of directors, private equity groups, lenders and investors on profit improvement, turnarounds, workouts, loan restructurings, due diligence, strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Carl Marks Advisors, Killion was a professional at Deloitte serving a multinational healthcare organization.

Godbout has more than 11 years of financial service experience, including expertise in financial restructuring and investment banking. Prior to joining Carl Marks, he was vice president at a boutique private equity fund and a senior associate at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services.

Condie joined Carl Marks Advisors’ investment banking team in 2015 and focuses primarily on providing research and execution services for various investment banking and financial advisory assignments.
