Regions Bank hired Lee Byrd as Head of Fraud. In this newly created role, Byrd will focus on protecting customers and the company from financial fraud and will report to Logan Pichel, head of Enterprise Operations.

“As the occurrence of fraud rapidly increases throughout the financial services industry, we are committed to protecting both our customers and our company from financial losses. As part of this commitment, we are creating an enterprise singular focus on fraud within Enterprise Operations,” said Pichel. “Lee has more than 20 years of experience in corporate security, information technology, and fraud mitigation and he will bring his extensive background to bear as we continue to strengthen our efforts to prevent financial crime.”
