Growth and operations expert George Bene has joined AlixPartners as a managing director in the firm’s global revenue and growth practice. He will be based in Boston.

Bene joins AlixPartners from the Boston Consulting Group, where he spent 17 years and rose to the level of partner and managing director. His diverse consulting career includes leading commercial transformations, facilitating organization alignments, and driving initiatives that delivered accelerated revenue growth along with robust operating results at many types of companies, including technology and industrial companies. He has special expertise in pricing strategies, go-to-market strategies, and operational transformations, and is also deeply experienced in channel transformations, post-merger integrations, operational-efficiency programs, and innovation strategies.

For seven years prior to BCG, he served in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of captain, where he honed his leadership and organizational duties serving as an attack-helicopter pilot, a platoon leader, a logistics officer, and an operations officer and controller.
