Bank of Southern California has appointed Gaylin Anderson executive vice president, chief banking officer.

Anderson previously served as executive vice president, market executive, and was responsible for the bank’s growth within the newly added Los Angeles and Orange County markets. In his new role, he will lead the company’s business development efforts, portfolio management and customer retention.

“Gaylin has been a valuable member of our executive leadership team since he joined Bank of Southern California in 2018 and played a key role in the acquisition of Los Angeles-based Americas United Bank,” said Nathan Rogge, president and chief executive officer. “I am confident he will continue to be an asset to the organization and will help drive the bank’s organic growth,” concluded Rogge.
