Bank Leumi USA has named Michael Zaremsky its new head of U.S. Private Banking.

In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the regional U.S. Private Banking teams and ensuring continued collaboration between the Private Banking and Commercial Banking practices.

Zaremsky joined Bank Leumi USA in 2017 and previously served as regional head for New York Private Banking.

“Michael has already done a tremendous job of fostering collaboration among teams and, in so doing, has continued to deliver on our commitment to providing all of our clients with high-touch service,” said Shawn McGowen, chief banking officer at Leumi. “As he assumes leadership of our U.S. Private Banking business, we are confident that he will be instrumental in further integrating our offerings so we can provide the most value to our clients.”

Zaremsky has more than 20 years of investment management experience across fixed income, equity and asset allocation solutions. Prior to joining Bank Leumi USA, he was a client portfolio manager at Lazard Asset Management and Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving high-net-worth and institutional clients.

Zaremsky is based in New York and will continue to report to McGowen.
