Alvarez & Marsal added Managing Director Elizabeth Dean to its Disputes and Investigations group in San Francisco.

Dean’s primary areas of concentration are intellectual property, breach of contract, commercial damages, forensic accounting, fraud, unfair competition, valuations, mergers and acquisition, and class action cases. Her 30 years of extensive experience include forensic accounting, business consulting and valuation services, as well as testifying as an expert in federal and state courts and in U.S. and international arbitrations.

Dean has worked with clients across various industries, including consumer goods, e-commerce, energy, financial services, high technology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, software, professional services, telecommunications and utilities. She has provided financial and damages analysis on claims involving lost profits, lost wages/benefits, increased costs, lost business or asset value, unjust enrichment, reasonable royalty/license and forensic accounting.

Prior to joining A&M, Dean was a vice president at TM Financial Forensics and a director at Navigant Consulting.
