Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Jason Yum as senior director to its Corporate Performance Improvement group in Seattle.

Yum’s experience in technology, particularly in emerging cryptography and digital transformation, will serve as a key component in expanding A&M’s capabilities and services on the West Coast.

“Jason’s operational background and significant consulting experience greatly enhance A&M’s services in a region that is home to the most recognized names in technology,” said Joel O’Driscoll, managing director and leader of A&M’s Corporate Performance Improvement West Region practice.

Yum joined A&M from IBM where his responsibilities in digital strategy included working in business transformation and blockchain. He also worked for seven years at Microsoft Corporation where he led the Ecosystem Team Lead, Operating Systems Group and Startup Business Group. Yum also has cross-border experience as he worked at Samsung Electronics and Accenture in Canada, and Bain and Company in South Korea.
