Isabel Santos Kunsman joined AlixPartners as a managing director in its Investigations, Disputes & Risk practice. She will be based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Santos Kunsman brings more than 15 years of experience in valuation and damages quantification matters in the context of bilateral investment treaty arbitrations, international commercial disputes, and regulatory proceedings.

Santos Kunsman has been regularly retained as a quantum and valuation expert to provide testimony in both English and Spanish in international arbitrations under various jurisdictions including ICSID, UNCITRAL, and the ICC. She has worked on numerous international arbitration matters for both claimants and respondents around the world, including in Latin America, Europe and Africa. She has also assisted clients in litigations dealing with the valuation of derivatives portfolios.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, she was a managing director in Ankura’s (formerly Navigant) International Arbitration practice in Washington, D.C.
