Brian Kalms joined AlixPartners as a managing director. Kalms will focus on helping retail clients achieve business transformation through strategic technology innovation.

Kalms, who will be based in London, has more than 30 years of experience in management consulting and technology strategy. He has held senior leadership roles at Accenture and most recently at Elixirr, where he was the lead partner for retail and consumer and helped build the firm’s retail practice. In addition, he led various assignments including strategic reviews, international expansions, digital transformations, business process changes, organizational realignments and multichannel systems introductions, with a focus on business value and tangible results.

Additionally, Kalms serves on the UK board of directors of Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance and blood bank service.
