Panels of dealmakers and portfolio company operating executives and a keynote speaker from Bain Capital will discuss creating private equity value in today’s challenging manufacturing marketplace at the seventh annual ACG New York Manufacturing Conference at the Time/Life Building on Wednesday, June 11 from noon to 6 p.m.

“Deal-makers are working overtime these days to put together winning manufacturing transactions,” noted Christopher Chase, a managing director at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, who is chairing this year’s conference. “Debt and equity capital is abundant and inexpensive. But values are high, companies are efficient and customer-oriented, and the markets are very competitive. Our speakers will identify areas of opportunity and ways of generating returns that make investing worthwhile.”

The event’s keynote speaker will be Seth Meisel, managing director, Bain Capital. Meisel, who joined Bain in 1999, has played an integral role on a number of key transactions in the industrials and chemicals sectors including Apex Tools, Consolidated Container, Trinseo, Sensata Technologies and Innophos.He has served on the boards and committees of several of these and other private companies.

The panel of deal-making executives includes James M. Hill, executive chairman, Benesch Law; Parimal Parimal, vice president, corporate development, Terex Corporation; Richard P. Prestegaard, director of business development, High Road Capital Partners; James Rourke, managing director, M&A, Bank of America Merrill Lynch; and Michael A. Teplitsky, vice president, Wynnchurch Capital. Chase will moderate the panel.
