Daniel J. Bolger has joined Eastern Bank’s Commercial Lending Division as senior vice president, Asset Based Lending.

Bolger has spent his entire career in banking focused on ABL transactions with increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Eastern, he spent five years at Citizens Bank, most recently as senior originator responsible for originating new ABL relationships ranging from $10 million sole bank transactions to multi-hundred million-dollar syndicated facilities.

He began his career at TD Bank as a commercial credit analyst and portfolio manager. He later joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance as ABL relationship manager/vice president before becoming vice president, originations at citizens Bank. He is a past president of the New England Chapter of the Secured Finance Network, formerly the Commercial Finance Association (CFA), and was recognized with a 2017 CFA 40 Under 40 Award.

Bolger joins Eastern’s ABL group following the 2018 arrival of Donald Lewis as senior vice president and head of Asset Based Lending. Eastern’s commercial banking team primarily services businesses throughout New England with between $10 million and $500 million in revenue by offering a range of financing and financial services options, including lines of credit, equipment loans, acquisition and business expansion financing, cash management, treasury services, and commercial insurance.
