A veteran on the legal side of the asset-based lending industry, Paul H. Shur has become a partner at Platzer, Swergold, Levine, Goldberg, Katz and Jaslow.

Shur has more than 30 years of experience in commercial and financial transactions, loan workouts and restructuring. He has dealt with sales and lease transactions, secured transactions, asset-based financing, real estate financing, loan workout restructures, real estate title defense and litigation, creditors’ rights litigation and commercial and corporate finance.

Prior to Platzer, Shur was an attorney-at-law at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf for just over two years. He also served as an attorney-at-law partner at the firms of Blank Rome and Reed Smith.

As partner, Shur will handle commercial finance, creditor’s rights, financial services and title insurance defense.
