Xander Media Group president Jerry Parrotto announced on November 2, 2012 that after a two-year bout with cancer, Crystina Bianco, who spent the last 18 years of her career with the company, sadly passed away yesterday at the young age of 43.
Crystina was the lead art director and production manager for both the Monitor and ABF Journal magazines. She will be best remembered by many in the equipment finance industry as the “mother” of the Monitor 100. The ABF Journal was just an idea until Crystina created the blueprint for its launch and subsequent development as a leading publication in the asset-based lending industry.
Parrotto said, “You don’t realize how critical the people in your life can be until you experience such a tragic event, especially when you’ve worked so closely with someone for so many years. Crystina was about as important in my life and business career as you can get. What we do today, and how we do it, is based on what she brought to this company every day she was with us – truly a one-of-a-kind whose dedication and contribution will be sorely missed.”
