Sarah Raybon
Director of ABL & Lender Finance Underwriting
White Oak Commercial Finance

Sarah Raybon is the go-to person at White Oak Commercial Finance when a transaction involves a complex asset-based lending credit that needs a well-conceived underwriting approach. Thoughtful and deliberate, Raybon always spends the time and energy to understand the issues at hand to provide a meticulously considered and deliberate solution. Her ability to quickly and thoroughly understand the various constituents involved in any deal is a skill she has honed throughout her career.

At White Oak, Raybon is a consummate team player who works across numerous specialties and projects, both internally and externally. With a broad skill set and knowledge base, she directs underwriting for ABL and lender finance but can also shift speeds to handle cash flow, factoring and other sectors.

Prior to joining White Oak in June 2021, Raybon built her career over the course of a decade with Wells Fargo, beginning in the company’s financial analyst and credit management training programs before becoming a relationship manager in syndicated finance and, ultimately, director of underwriting for corporate and middle-market asset-based lending, a role she held for nearly seven years. Raybon’s experience in Wells Fargo’s credit management training program has been especially critical to her career growth, as she learned how to enhance credit underwriting and improve client relationship management while developing expertise in credit analysis, including quantitative risk assessment, financial statement analysis, business risk evaluation and loan structuring.

“At Wells Fargo, Sarah was a true leader working in the ABL group. At White Oak, she has continued to demonstrate why she is one of the leading women in asset-based lending,” Fridolf Hanson, a managing director at White Oak Commercial Finance, says.
