Lisa Freeman
National Portfolio Manager
U.S. Bank

Lisa Freeman is an exceptional leader who can motivate her team to be as productive as possible while earning their admiration and respect. At U.S. Bank, Freeman leads a group of strong performers with a keen focus on partnering with colleagues to exceed goals and drive results. She and her team continually go above and beyond to serve customers and take a proactive approach to problem solving.

Promoted to the role of national portfolio manager in late 2022, Freeman oversees U.S. Bank’s extensive asset-based lending portfolio, which consists of more than 200 customers. She guides her team through various trends in the market, fluctuating risk cycles and a multitude of industries in ABL and the retail finance space. She consistently designs creative solutions to better serve her clients while partnering internally to grow relationships and expand the bank’s reach across the United States. Freeman also works closely with, and provides guidance to, some of the bank’s struggling customers while partnering with investment-grade clients to determine optimal capital structures and formulate strategies to better access the capital markets.

On top of her strong leadership and credit skills, Freeman effects impactful change by championing efficiency via improvements with partners throughout U.S. Bank. As a result, she has successfully modified policies, streamlined processes and eliminated unnecessary tasks.

“Lisa has consistently demonstrated strong leadership qualities throughout her career and I’m confident she will continue to add value to our U.S. Bank ABF management team,” John Freeman, managing director of working capital finance at U.S. Bank, says.
