As a partner in Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP’s (MHH) secured lending, equipment and transportation finance group, Julia Gavrilov concentrates her practice on both the litigation and transactional sides of secured lending and equipment finance, a combined skill set seldomly found within the industry.

Gavrilov has exemplified leadership both within MHH and in the equipment finance and secured lending industries at large. Clients continually rely on her as a knowledgeable and reliable resource and she is regularly invited to speak on numerous industry panels and webinars with other prominent industry figures. Gavrilov is an active member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA), serving on multiple ELFA committees, and is dedicated to inspiring thoughtful innovation and contributing to the betterment of the industry through, among other things, her service as a member of the research committee for the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, on which she serves as the sole attorney.

Along with her contributions to various industry committees and associations, Gavrilov has, both personally and on behalf of MHH, continuously demonstrated a steadfast commitment to furthering diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the leasing, finance and legal industries. She serves as chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative program and has frequently written and spoken on DE&I topics both during webinars and as part of industry conference panels, including the ELFA’s inaugural Equity Forum, as well as the ELFA’s Legal Forum and Annual Conventions. In addition, she serves as a member of the Secured Finance Network’s (SFNet) Women in Secured Finance Committee.

Gavrilov’s contributions to, and accomplishments in, the secured lending and equipment finance industries have repeatedly been recognized by her peers through various accolades.
