UBS, Goldman Sachs Support DigiCert Acquisition of Symantec Divisions

DigiCert will acquire Symantec’s Website Security and related PKI solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Symantec will receive approximately $950 million in upfront cash proceeds and approximately a 30% stake in the common stock equity of the DigiCert business at the closing of the transaction.

BofA, Wells Fargo, Others Provide Financing to Support Symantec Buy

Symantec is acquiring LifeLock in a deal valued at $2.3 billion. The company will finance the transaction with cash and $750 million of new debt. Bank of America, Barclays, Citi, J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo provided debt financing commitments.

JPMorgan, Wells Fargo Provide Financing to Support Symantec Buy

Symantec will acquire Blue Coat for $4.65 billion and said intends to finance the transaction with $2.8 billion of new debt. JPMorgan and Wells Fargo Securities are providing debt financing to support the deal.

Wells Fargo Agents Symantec $2B Credit Facilities

Symantec entered into a credit agreement with a lender group led by Wells Fargo as administrative agent, encompassing a $1 billion term loan and a revolver not to exceed $1 billion.
