Monroe Capital declared a first quarter 2013 dividend of $0.34 per share and noted it originated $78.6 million in new funded investments during the fourth quarter, in addition to its initial portfolio purchase of $67.5 million of assets.

Regions Financial reported fourth-quarter earnings of $261 million compared to a net loss of $602 million for the same quarter in 2011. The bank said provision charges of $37 million were down from $295 million in 2011.
Wells Fargo reported fourth quarter and full year 2012 net income was a record $5.1 billion and $18.9 billion, respectively up 24% and 19% compared to the same year-ago periods. The bank said it its credit losses for the year of $9 billion were $2.3 billion less than the previous year.
